Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information DojoLM (“we”, “us”) collects through dojolm.com(the “Site”), how we use it, and how you can exercise your rights. DojoLM is operated by Blackunicorn.

The Site is a marketing surface for the DojoLM open-source product. The self-hosted product you download from GitHub does not send any data to us.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Waitlist and contact submissions: name, email, optional company, role, areas of interest, and message content.
• Email correspondence: anything you send to us directly (e.g. info@blackunicorn.tech) is retained in our mailbox.

Information collected automatically

• Server logs: IP address, user agent, referrer, and requested paths, retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
• Privacy-friendly analytics: aggregate page-view counts via Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. No cookies are set, and no cross-site tracking is performed.

What we do not collect

• Marketing cookies, pixels, or cross-site trackers— none on the Site.
• Product telemetry— the self-hosted product does not phone home. Any logs stay on your infrastructure.

How we use information

• Respond to waitlist and contact enquiries.
• Send you Alpha access invitations and occasional product updates, strictly related to DojoLM. You can unsubscribe from any message.
• Operate, secure, and improve the Site.
• Comply with legal obligations.

Legal bases (GDPR)

Where GDPR applies, we rely on: (i) your consent, which you provide by submitting the form and which you may withdraw at any time; (ii) our legitimate interests in running and securing the Site; and (iii) legal obligations.

Third-party processors

• Vercel Inc.— hosting, logs, analytics, speed insights.
• Resend (Resend, Inc.)— transactional and waitlist email delivery; stores contact records we submit.
• GitHub, Inc.— issue reporting and OSS distribution (only if you choose to interact with our public repository).

Each processor is contractually bound to protect the data we share and to process it only on our instructions.

International transfers

Our processors may store data in the United States or other jurisdictions. Where required, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Retention

• Waitlist entries: kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion, and for up to 24 months of inactivity thereafter.
• Contact messages: retained for up to 24 months after the last exchange.
• Server logs: up to 30 days.

Your rights

Subject to your jurisdiction, you may request to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any right, email info@blackunicorn.tech. We respond within 30 days.

Security

We use TLS in transit, encrypted storage at rest with our processors, and least-privilege access to submission data. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your data has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page and, where appropriate, announced via the Site or email.
